MONEY MAKING PHILOSOPHIES AND ISLAM

MONEY MAKING PHILOSOPHIES AND ISLAM

So with the plenty money strategies and philosophies flying around. I have read books and seen a couple of videos talking about making money (yes I like the idea of giving millions in charity. Don’t you?). and I just reflected on them and came to the conclusion that most of these philosophies are in the Qura’n and hadith if only we look deeper.

Point one: Law of attraction

You have to attract what you want. You have to think positive about things you want in life for them to happen to you.

“I am as My slave thinks I am. I am with him when he makes mention of Me. If he makes mention of Me to himself, I make mention of him to Myself; and if he makes mention of Me in an assembly, I make mention of him in an assembly better than it.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 7066; Muslim, 2675). Ahmad (16059) narrated with a saheeh isnaad: “I am as My slave thinks I am, so let him think of Me as he wishes.”

So think that Allaah will honour you, have mercy on you and give you happiness in this world and in the Hereafter. This hadith mentions that we think good and good will happen

Point two: Gratitude

To get more money, you have to always be in a state of gratitude. You have to write out and acknowledge the little things that happens to you. The act of gratitude is essential to attract more in life.

If you appreciate Allah’s favors, He has promised increased Rahma or mercy for you. Allah’s reward for your gratitude is unlimited and unconditional.

“If you are grateful, I will surely give you more and more” (Ibrahim 14:7).

Point three: Mindset

Your mindset is a determinant to your success.

You either believe strongly you can make it in life or you are paranoid with fear and self doubts.

“and never give up hope of Allahs Mercy. Certainly no one despairs of Allahs Mercy, except the people who disbelieve”

[Yoosuf 12:87]

Point four: Charity

The more you give, the more you receive.

It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Allaah said: ‘Spend, O son of Adam, and I shall spend on you.’”

Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5073; Muslim, 993.

So generally,This things are not new. They have been taught thousands of years ago. It is only been recycled. This is the beauty of Islam. We have got everything we need.

An aspect of these money making philosophy that muslims must beware of so it doesn’t destroy our  tawheed is this very common saying. “The universe will give you what you want” or “just belief the universe will bring it to you”

Dear brother and sister in Islam. That sentence will crush your tawheed because it goes against tahweed ruboobiyyah that says Allah is the lord and giver of all things.

Blessed is He in whose hand is dominion, and He is over all things competent “(mulk:1)

He only is in charge of our sustenance.  May Allah aid us in attaining halal means.

Wouldn’t it be nice to donate millions in charity?

May we use our Rizq to make the world a better place.

Yours in curating,

Hamdalah Li.
