He joined the service of the University in 2008.  Dr. Alaro obtained his LL.B (Islamic Law) degree in 1993 from the Islamic University of Madinah with first Class Hons.and as best graduand.  He had his M. A. in jurisprudence of Religion (Usul-al-Ddin) in 1997 with Distinction, LL.M. in comparative jurisprudence with Distinction and recommendation for publication and  had his Ph.D. in 2002.

Dr. Alaro had to his credit not less than seven to eight books published and several papers in Academic research and journals.  He is presently a Senior Lecturer at the Islamic Law Department and Faculty of Law Post Graduate School Coordinator, University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria.
